Punto Fermo

In 2011 the town of San Vito al Tagliamento achieved the important landmark of twenty years of exhibiting contemporary art in its territory, thanks to the succession first of the editions of Hic et Nunc and then of those of Palinsesti. On that occasion, the three curators who had alternated along the years – Angelo Bertani, Alessandro Del Puppo, and Denis Viva – chose to celebrate such an important result with the gathering of a permanent art collection, conceived as the most tangible testament of the artistic research that had been conducted within the Friuli Venezia Giulia region in recent years. The collection, based on a first selection of artists, was entitled Punto Fermo and was presented, for the first time, with an homonymous exhibition in 2011.
