Since its origins, the In Sesto Prize has been conceived in order to promote contemporary art and enhance the urban pattern of San Vito al Tagliamento, creating a unique heritage.
Ten works installed over the course of as many editions are today still sprinkling the town. They are the result of an exemplary process of sharing, which improved over the years, by putting the requests of commissioners together with the quality of the artistic choices, the freedom of the artists as well as the incontestable discretion of the audience, the citizens, who each year vote for the work they believe should become part of the city.
